Brick Type

Wire-Cut Brick

Wire-cut bricks are consistent and uniform in character. This attribute makes wire-cut brick excellent for use in walk-ways and ourtdoor living spaces becuase they are easy to lay, especially in complex patterns. A diverse range of effects can be created on wirecut bricks from slicker smooth finishes to rumbled, sandy and pitted surfaces. Use wire-cut brick for a uniform look.

Pressed Brick

Pressed bricks are created by pressing clay into individual molding boxes. This method creates unique characteristics and randomly shaped bricks. These bricks often vary in width and length by more than a half inch. Use pressed brick for a more traditional look.

Sandstock Brick

Sandstock bricks are made in the same soft molded manner in which early settlers made bricks. The soft clay clot is first rolled in sand prior to being "thrown" into a mold called a stock, hence sand-stock. Use sandstock brick for a rustic look.
